LORD CHOLMONDELEY CHASSIS GFT-43.

We are satisfied that the 25 HP. car being prepared for Lord Cholmondeley, when fitted with the body as shown in your sketch, will do 70 M.P.H. over the half mile at Brooklands.

To carry out what you suggest, is going to be expensive and we do not see how it is going to be very helpful, because whether the car does or does not do 70 M.P.H. there is nothing else we can do to it.

Tests have already been carried out on Brooklands with the standard test kit and we have a value for this for speed.

As regards the other item in your letter i.e. rev. counter drive, we have asked By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} to reply to this.

Attached herewith sketch of car.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}
