Referring to the question of trying some new timing on the compression ignition engine. Mr. Lightbound had this matter in hand and was searching through the various cam forms that we have with a view to picking out those likely to be of use experimentally on the compression ignition engine. It was thought there should be some about the right lift and shorter in duration that might be used. We should be interested to know if anything likely to be useful has materialised.
