AIRCRAFT Thermometer (Oil) Pocket

Description
From the illustrations it will be seen that the pocket is composed primarily of three pieces—the centre piece “ B ” being a steel sleeve into which is fitted a standard thermometer, and this sleeve, in addition to forming the passage for the oil, also serves to bind together the top “ A ” and the bottom half “ C ” of the thermometer pocket, both made in aluminium. By this means a very convenient arrangement for fitting can be provided, as shown in the illustration.

Sizes Available
The “ Elbow ” model, as illustrated, has the intake at right angles and the outlet vertical from the bottom, but the “ Universal ” type pocket is also provided with both the inlet and the outlet at right angles to the body, and, in addition, they can be turned round relative one to another, that is to say, the pipes can enter and depart from the thermometer pocket in a horizontal direction at any relation one to another that may be desired.
