BRG File Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/IH.18.12.33. re: BENTLEY PETROL FILLER. We send herewith print of R.R. Scheme 553. showing the sealed filler with breathing pipe for Bentley. We would be glad if you would confirm that the addition of this breathing pipe to the filler in no way interferes with the coachwork which has already been produced. We were under the impression that this would be the standard filler on all Bentley chassis until such time as some improved form of outside filler may be standardised. However, since some chassis are about to be delivered to coachbuilders, we suggest that it will be necessary for Sales to ascertain whether every chassis will be equipped with the sealed filler, or, whether some of the early chassis will still have the vent filler. You may wish to arrange with Derby to have the filler modified on some, if not all, of these early chassis should they be delivered with the original filler. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
