re- Bentley Petrol Filler.
Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/IHis.12.38.

The Coachbuilders have confirmed that the addition of the breathing pipe to the filler will not interfere with the coachwork to any appreciable extent. In view of that we should like to have this introduced on the chassis at once, and to know whether this device can be added to those chassis already delivered to various Coachbuilders before they pass into the hands of the purchaser. Will BY please let me know this.

Would it be a difficult matter to send a man round to convert the various chassis so far ex Works not so equipped, so that all conform to the one standard as, and when, they reach the customer's hands ?

I would be glad to hear from BY as soon as possible on this matter in view of the fact that certain chassis are already being equipped with bodies and will soon be nearing completion.
