WORKS.

(1) POLICY OF SERVICE WITH GOSHAWK.

A sub-committee was elected as follows - C. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} (C. to be the convenor.)

This committee will investigate what is being spent and bring up the matter later.

They would let every member of the conference have a statement of what is being spent and how it is being spent in correcting troubles with delivered chassis. They will look up the pre-war scheme in the catalogues and circulate that to all members of the conference.

It was agreed that the guarantee in the main principles should stand.

(2) BUYING A NEW CAR AT THE SHOW AS LIKE GOSHAWK AS POSSIBLE.

It was thought that the Delage was the highest type of car similar to Goshawk, especially on account of four wheel brakes.

A sub-committee was elected as follows, to select the most suitable car - Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} PN.{Mr Northey} EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} Rg.{Mr Rowledge} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} The convenor of this committee to be Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}

This committee should come to a decision as soon as possible after the Show and the actual buying of the chassis should be left to Sales.

(3) WHEN WE HAVE ARRIVED AT A MODEL GOSHAWK WHICH IS CONSIDERED SUITABLE WHAT SCHEDULE OF TEST WILL IT HAVE TO UNDERGO?

It was agreed that three cars should do 10,000 miles each on the Continent, as well as the ordinary Laboratory tests, bumping tests etc. The last of these three cars must start on its test not later than the 1st.March.
