2. BY6/N.7.5.30 Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} (9) Does cross member on the subframe clear American gearbox tower. (10) Springs. Before ordering quantities Oy. to settle clearance from bumpers with Experimental Dept. (11) Floorboards. We must try and make the joints round the gear box tower and hand brake lever gas tight. (12) Horn. We are to try and get a horn like the Bosch, made by someone over here, we are making enquiries. (13) Front number plate brackets will be supplied by America. (14) We are to fit the American speedometer drive, and an American speedometer. (15) Rear Axle. The tube running alongside the road spring carrying oil to the axle is inside our gaiter. Oy. wanted it outside, but we do not agree to this. We will decide from 10,000 miles inspection whether our position is final. (16) Air dash pot to Servo Mechanism. This to be fitted, and we should aim at early standardisation. (17) Foot Operated Dimming Switch. We are to make provision for this, and I have arranged for Bosch switch on L.H. side. (18) Headlamps. We are to try out lamps as ordered, and provide complete brackets as it only means small fittings in addition to stumps. Continued. | ||
