The following is a list of items that still require instructing, and if you are not clear on any of the points, please see me. (1) Modified position for supplying the oil to the train of timing gears. At present the oil jet is not the correct one. (2) We must indicate American quarts on the crankcase oil level indicator dial. (3) Closed in front bearing for hinge in place of present open type. It is a question of appearance and also is safer. (4) Arrange to have the bonnet projected over the dash by .187". (5) We are to provide America with a gauge showing the actual curvature of the top of the bonnet where it meets the scuttle. (6) Support of side hinge at front and rear, we have now a decent scheme for this which we are instructing. (7) Wings and Wing Stays. Oy. is to supply a blueprint which he has sent to America for. (8) Subframe. Not likely to use these, but will fit to brackets in positions of present subframe supporting brackets. Continued. | ||
