To EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Bensport. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}5/E22.2.35 Copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} I see you have had a copy of Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/IT.21.2.35. I have written to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} to-day as per the attached copy. I should like to hear from you about the stone guard. Re the body points I presume you will take up No.1 with Park Ward. Re Item 2, we have not in the past on any of our cars supplied special light for map reading by the passenger and I rather doubt the necessity for it on this car. Where map reading has to be done at night, one would imagine it can be done from the other light available in the car. Re Item 3, suit case space. I should like to have your comments on this. Item 4, I think, is important. I find the usual release catch very troublesome to operate. Item 5 I imagine will be attended to anyhow and is merely wrong on this car because of side levers instead of central. Re Item 7, I understand you are going to try the asbestos treatment, i.e. the Limpet. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Enc. Copy of Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}4/E22.2.33 | ||
