Dear Sirs,

X 4188 STANDARD 6 BXE.5 BATTERIES.

We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter, Ref. Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} /AW2/W22621, of the 22nd inst., explaining that you estimate a total of 858 antimonial lead washers will be required to effect the proposed change-over in the BXE.5 batteries lying at your Works.

From our books we find that the first delivery of the modified type was than despatched to you on March 8th, and up to date we have despatched in all 310 sets of the same type.

We will proceed with the least possible delay with those lying at your Works, and should be glad to have your instructions regarding any other sets. We cannot help feeling, however, that very little trouble need be anticipated - in fact, no trouble at all should arise if the connections are help well vaselined as recommended in the instructions.

Yours faithfully,

THE CHLORIDE ELECTRICAL STORAGE CO LTD.

(Sgd) E.C.McKINNON.

Chief Engineer.
