Changeover from brass washers to antimonial lead washers for Standard 6-B.X.E.5. batteries.

RECEIVED We have now received a report from the Works and we find that there are 143 Batteries which are fitted with the Brass Washers. We have communicated this information to the Chloride Electrical Co Ltd., and they are forwarding immediately, 850 Antmonial Lead Washers to effect the proposed changeover. In all, 310 sets of this type of Battery have been delivered, therefore, we shall be glad to hear what you propose to do with those which are already fitted to chassis.
