Extract from Peat's report of June 3rd, 1914, sent from Spain.

"Firstly as regards clearances on various parts of chassis (these points have been detailed in my letters) - from an owners point of view there is considerable room for improvement. The fault of the starting handle fouling the underside of the radiator, for instance, is trivial in itself but it is a fruitful source of annoyance to owners whose cars are laid up for radiator repairs. As owner does not stop to consider the magnitude of a breakdown, he is only concerned with the loss of car service which can be of quite as prolonged duration from this fault as from something far more serious. Also there is the risk, I might the certainty, of recurrence. Practically every R.R. radiator in Spain leaks."
