All these jobs have been made O.K. and the bijur
system checked to the necessary parts.

BRAKES.
These have been adjusted, and a new lever fitted
to the front equalizer to increase the front braking. Length
of new lever 2.65".
old lever 2.25".

ENGINE.
The torque dampers were slackened off to give
increased engine movement, this is an improvement.

The tappets were set too close, and would not
permit maximum speed. 78 m.p.h. only being reached. After
resetting tappets 86 m.p.h. was obtained with slightly more
on falling gradient.

Clutch pedal adjusted off the floorboard.

The following points were noted and require
attention -

(1) O.S. engine guard rattles (rivets loose in slats)

(2) Exhaust system noisy: down take pipe and front
expansion box not lagged.

(3) Silencer fouls cross member occasionally with engine
movement.

(4) Slow running poor KLG.M.50 plugs ?

(5) Bowden cable operation to all door steps, found
broken.

(6) Tappets noisy at .004" and .006".

(7) Oil leak from clutch pit.

(8) O.S. front wing valance dented when received.
N.S. " disc " " "
Upholstery torn driving seat squab " "
Paint chipped O.S. bonnet " "

(9) We understand this engine requires a decarb. by the
owner.
