X1113 To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Cricklewood, Oct. 8th, 1936. 35-EX. I tried this car again this morning. I am aware that you are up against it, re clutches, but I am sorry to state that the clutch on the above car is not passable. It would be turned down by Owners for squeak, and quite possibly for jaggering, when any quick take up is taken. Personally I don't see any gain in continuing running this clutch in the condition it has got into. Brakes. The front brakes have become to effective and are not pleasant to use in slow running traffic. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/G.W.Hancock. | ||
