X 4342V To WD {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} from DA {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} /THR. c. to BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} DA {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} /THR5/CB12-7-21. [STAMP: FO JUL RECEIVED] X 4342V STARTER MOTOR & DYNAMOTOR "GOSHAWK II" OF C.A.V. MAKE Replying to your memo WD {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} 5/NJ12-7-21. We can only conclude that the reference to a 5" dia. starter motor is a clerical error, as the drawings are all in order and certainly shew a 4 3/4" dia. machine. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} has not sent any specification for the starter motor other than figures given in his correspondence. The number they refer to is merely F.R's experimental number. I hope the above will enable you to clear this matter up. DA {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} /THR. | ||
