FLYWHEEL. Should reduce the weight of this to see if any disadvantage, because it would increase the acceleration and reduce weight in an objectionable position.
BODY. In some ways this is very nice, and also very quiet. The colour is wrong in two ways - i.e. bonnet and scuttle should be the same, so as to look long, (Barker's fault, not EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}'s) also the inside should have been grey like the outside, (our fault in the hurry). The back seats are too much inclined; about two-thirds the angle should be tried.
BRAKE. Something good between this and the body, but the the rods are too near the ground, and should not have been fitted. They are very likely to get damaged being low in the centre of the car. Raise them about 1.5" or remove them.
BATTERY. Seems near the ground, but being near the back axle is not so dangerous, but is nearer the centre of a cambered road.
SCUTTLE. Should not be fabric covered, but metal like bonnet. I think the centre of this, and the rear end of the bonnet, are slightly too high for appearance. (Barker's existing design). Try the next one .75" lower at the middle of the dash.
WHEELS. Smaller wheels and shorter hubs appear a distinct gain in weight and cost. The steering is almost certainly better for this reason. (They are 31 x 6" on 19" rims.)
SPEEDOMETER. The xx top reading of this for a 20 HP. should be 75 m.p.h. This one goes to 90 m.p.h. and appears somewhat ridiculous also xx the scale would be more open and useful if the top of the same scale was 70/80
