Dear Sirs, Referring to your letter of the 24th instant, addressed to our Birmingham House, we are enclosing herewith copies of our drawings, CDS.765/7 showing the N2 type wire wheel with the proposed 5.00-18 rim on the same track line as the present 4.00-18 equipment for your Phantom III Chassis. The estimated weight of the complete wheel, including balance base pieces, is 27 lbs for the 'Open' bead design of rim to drawing, CDS.765, and 28 lbs for the alternative Tubular bead design to drawing CDS.767. For the purpose of comparison, the actual weight of the 4.00-18 wheel as at present being supplied is 26 3/4 lbs. We shall be pleased to receive your comments on our proposals in due course.
