-2- we would not accept them otherwise. Owing to this having occurred we should recommend that no further Tangye jacks be ordered. The Dunlop Super D.L. jack is suitable for the 20 HP. chassis (now that we are using 6" tyres on 19" rims), and should be supplied as standard equipment on both Phantom II and 20 HP cars, incidentally it is less expensive than the Tangye. With regard to the Dunlop jack which has not proved altogether satisfactory, we are in communication with the makers with a view to improving the jack. The inner malleable iron sleeve which regularly fails is to be made of phosphor bronze in all future deliveries, there are one or two other minor points which will also be rectified. It is possible that these modifications will increase the price of the Dunlop jack slightly, it is already supplied to us at a cut price, and a small increase should not be objected to under the circumstances.
