LEFT-HAND SILVER PHANTOM.

POSITION OF DETAIL DRAWINGS NOT YET ISSUED.

Water Connections. Detailed but not issued.

Bonnet. Detailed but not issued.

Exhaust System. At the present moment the exhaust system is detailed for one type each side of the chassis. These details will be modified immediately to the same scheme as is now fitted to 11.B.V. The box will be the same as on 33.G.

Front Engine Mounting. The scheme has been issued but not yet detailed. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH promised to complete the details of this by next week.

Radiator Mounting. The scheme is done. It will be issued on 20.5.40. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} pointed out that this mounting had been modified to enable the fan belt to be removed. This alteration had necessitated modifications to the yoke piece and mounting rubbers. It was suggested that an existing Silver Wraith radiator should be modified to suit the Silver Phantom.

Front and Rear Bumpers. It was agreed that bumper bars as on Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}'s car should be instructed until some acceptable bumper was available from Wilmot Breedon's.

Spring Suspension Mechanism. It was agreed that the light bottom triangular lever could be used. The existing material can be improved 100% by proper heztrtzhatmdnbe Ehaztlrghtededefrztengfulsrng.
