20/25 H.P. CHASSIS.
GEH.8 - New car - Job 34148.
Springing very hard. Removed the normal type high poundage springs and fitted a set of "intermediate" type springs in their place, which made a very big improvement. Adjusted the shock damper loads to suit.

GYH.38 - 8463 Kms. - Job 34796.
Springing hard and pitches at rear. Removed the original 1200 lbs. "normal" type rear springs and fitted in their place 2 F.58611 1100 lbs. "low rating" springs. Reduced the initial load of the front dampers. Although the above made a fairly good improvement, we believe that the owner is still not quite satisfied with the springing. We eventually may have to fit "intermediate" or "low rating" type springs to the front.

PHANTOM II CHASSIS (last Quarter).
99.RY - 6530 Kms. - Job 34902.
Springs very hard. Serious complaint from owner. Tried various settings of dampers with no appreciable results. Removed "5 plate stiffer type" springs from front and rear and fitted two 1100 lbs. and two 1400 lbs. normal type springs to front and rear and reset dampers to suit. The above overcame the owner's complaint.
