For the attention of Mr. Hives

Dear Sirs,

We have now safely received the 12 Model KR4 plugs, which we much regret to hear failed owing to the nickel points coming loose. We are now at once re-constructing these plugs, brazing in the nickel points and will return them to you at the earliest possible moment, doing our utmost to ensure that these shall not be later than Thursday evening.

We understand that except for this fault the plugs appear satisfactory so far as you have tested them up to the present.

We beg to remain,

Yours faithfully,
THE LODGE SPARKING PLUG CO. LTD.

[Signature: Alec M Lodge]
DIRECTOR

P.S. We now anticipate despatching the 12 KR4. plugs early tomorrow (Thursday) morning. AML.
