The Lodge Sparking Plug Co. Ltd., RUGBY. X.601. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. Lodge. We are returning to you one of the special KR3 plugs. You will see that the piece of nickel wire which is fixed into the copper electrode has fallen out. This occured whilst running under normal conditions, full power on the test bench. From past experience with the K.L.G. type plug, we do not think that the piece of nickel rivetted into the copper electrode will ever be reliable. We suggest that you let us have some plugs with/nickel point brazed in, similar to those you brought over. Yours faithfully P.S. Since writing we have had several more points work loose. | ||
