RE: BATTERY IGNITION SYNCHRONIZER.
Further to the letter received from The Air Ministry reference 610224/37/E.3(f). dated 19th March 1937, will you please note that the purpose for which the Synchronizer is required is for testing cable continuity on our Merlin Engines and for synchronizing battery ignition units on new secret engines.
We note that the cost of the instrument will be 23s.0d. plus cost of carriage. Please therefore send an order to the Air Ministry and ask them to despatch same as speedily as possible.
