We require some special pistons for Lord Cholmondeley's car to give 5.65 compression ratio.

We have talked the matter over with By/SS.{S. Smith} and there is a piston which almost exactly meets our requirements, which was designed for 'Japan'. To give exactly the right compression ratio this piston wants .030 taking off the crown and .030 adding underneath to give the same thickness. Will you please mark up a print to these dimensions and issue it to RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} to produce a set.

The D.O. number By/SS.{S. Smith} has given me for reference purposes is E.57122.
