LUCAS COMBINED STOP AND TAIL LAMP.

Referring to you Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}6/KW.6.4.34., the reason we did not propose the above lamp for the R.R. Chassis was due to the fact that we were under the impression the new R.R. Bodies were going through with the new arrangement of internally illuminated number plates, in which case the above stop and tail lamp would not be suitable. In cases where R.R. Cars are supplied with bodies not arranged for internally illuminated number plates there is no reason why the above lamps should not be fitted and we will arrange for the standardisation sheet to cover our other Chassis as well.
