Wraith II.

We give below a general specification of "Wraith II chassis as at present instructed experimentally.

ENGINE.

The engine is the same as the 25/30 HP. except as follows:-

(1) New front engine arms. This is a cheaper scheme of front engine mounting because we throw away the 25/30 type of engine bearer tubes and the cross bar.

(2) New rear engine rest arms cast on the crankcase. This deletes the 25/30 HP. trunnion arms and is very much cheaper.

(3) Single strap dynamo mounting - cheaper.

(4) Stiffened up dynamo drive facing on crankcase -- to overcome Works complaint of flexibility at this point.

(5) New torque reaction dampers to suit box frame.

(6) Flywheel end of crankcase has been moved backwards 1" to enable gearbox to be easily dismantled.

(7) New engine controls to suit position of steering box and addition of pressure oil filter.

(8) Oil pressure filter, two stage relief valve and larger oil pump to provide a clean supply of oil to light alloy bearings and to overcome valve rocker and timing gear oil starvation.
