Origin: To improve contact pressure and prevent starter failure. Report of Experimental Test. Fitted to all Exptl. cars and run 20,000 miles in France on 6-B-IV and 35-EX. This plate is a definite improvement, as we have had cases of starter failure due to poor contacts on the old switch.
