COMPLETED 20.4.37 PHANTOM III. STANDARDISATION of PARTS Description of Parts. STIFFENER PLATE FOR COPPER CONTACTS ON STARTER SWITCH TO D.75813. Origin. To improve contact pressure and prevent starter failure. Report of Experimental Test. Fitted to all Exptl. cars and run 10,000 miles in France on 6-B-IV and 35-EX. This plate is a definite improvement, as we have had cases of starter failure due to poor contacts on the old switch.
