ANDRÉ DUBONNET 33, RUE DES GRAVIERS (114, BOULEVARD MAURICE-BARRÈS) NEUILLY TÉL. MAILLOT [illegible] 34-44 Neuilly, 26th October, 1934 Mr. LESLIE Rolls Royce Ltd DERBY Dear Mr.Leslie, In reply to your letter of 23rd October I wish to inform you that we are working most actively on fitting my suspension to the chassis which you sent me. I do not understand what you mean by the 14 days for completion You surely realize that you have given us considerable supplementary work that of fixing the transversal piece and dismounting your car. You had assured us you would sent us a rigid chassis instead of which you supplied a chassis without any reinforcement and with many holes already bored. Concerning the lack of rigidity of the chassis, I have already stated how unsatisfactory that is, not only for my system, but as you know for all independent wheels. Nevertheless, I am convinced that we shall obtain a marked improvement but which certainly would have better had you not changed your mind about the reinforcement of your chassis. Yours sincerely [Signature: A Dubonnet] | ||
