x3873 Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Les.5/MA. 31st October, 1934. André Dubonnet, 33, Rue Des Graviers (114, Boulevard Maurice-Barrès) Neuilly. Dear Mons. Dubonnet, Thank you for your letter dated the 26th instant. We fully appreciate the need of a stiff frame, and wish we had a suitable car for you. However as this car will start with no front brakes we must not consider it as a final test of your suspension system. We have several methods of altering frame frequencies and reducing the amplitude, so we see no reason why this car should not give us a good idea of what we should expect with everything to our liking. Will you please let me know when the car will be ready for the road as I should like to come over to Paris to try the car with you. We understand that you are fitting the variable rating scheme, however we shall also need the part for your normal suspension system for the matter of comparison. Don't hesitate to let us know if you come across any difficulties. We indeed hope that we shall be hearing from you that the car will be ready for the road in a day or two. Yours sincerely, | ||
