A.{Mr Adams} Robotham Gentlemen: We are pleased to receive your favor of the 8th inst. and note with interest proposed design of chain drive as shown by your blue print LeC-4132 enclosed with your letter. We have gone over your prints carefully and calculated the sprocket centers, and find that the position at which you have established the automatic adjustment idler is correct for the use of a chain of 106 links duplex type. In finishing your design we would suggest that you specify the Morse number 766 duplex chain. This will be exactly the same as we now furnish the Cadillac Motor Car Company, except for length, and we are enclosing our blue print DO-5710 for your guidance. We believe that we have given you sprocket dimension data in a previous letter, and that you therefore have all information regarding this equipment. In our opinion the design as shown by your print should offer you a very satisfactory drive, and - 1 - | ||
