LUBRICATION OF BACK SHACKLE - GOSHAWK 11. REAR SPRINGS.

Mr. Elliott brought back from London a suggestion that the lubricator on the back shackle should be put directly into the pin head, instead of the right angled elbow piece. We should like to point out that on N.sch.926 the lubricator is shewn going straight into the pin of the back shackle, and without the use of an elbow. In figure 1 of this same drawing this elbow is shewn applied to the front shackle pin only, where we think it is necessary. We hope this meets the difficulty complained of.
