-2- i.e. without petrol flowing. Our aim is to find the form of choke and the form of feed holes to give best results. The other question needing consideration is the best place to lead in the fuel to the induction manifold. At present we have a lead in to the rear left hand cylinder manifold. Normally - due to the distribution characteristics of these engines - the three cylinders fed from this manifold are always richer than the others. The drain at this point makes these cylinders still richer during warming up. We desire to use the min. of piping and it would appear better to take the 'lead in' to the right hand rear manifold as cylind- ers fed from here are the weakest. We will try this next - i.e. transfer the lead in to the rear right hand manifold. We will supply a further report when we have completed these tests. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/ACL. | ||
