Second, first and reverse gears very good indeed.
Second Gear Exceptionally silent.
Nice and easy to change gear.
No disadvantage from worm axle is apparent. It is quiet although not absolutely so.
Whole chassis very good indeed, with the following exceptions -
1. Steering very heavy, especially at slow car speeds, wearing slack in short time.
2. Carburation is not automatic and therefore bad, unless it has much attention such as Mr Platford delight in.
3. Radius rods wear slack in very little time and knock and rattle. Axle knocks very bad feature.
4. Backlash in transmission. Back universal wearing slack, very bad jo. , poorly protected from
