40/50 - FRONT WHEEL BRAKES. X. 9940
FRONT SPRING REAR ANCHORAGE.

We send herewith N.sch.1706 shewing the rear anchorage of the front springs.

We have provided a cover to protect the pin and bearings, and Mr. Royce thinks that it will not be necessary at this stage to provide adjustment as has recently been proposed.

We have shewn the spring eye 2" wide and we should like to keep this for the rear end and to make the front end 1.88 as shewn on F.4625, one object of this being to render it impossible to assemble the spring the wrong way in the chassis.
