| To RHC. {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} From Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Swdl. {Len H. Swindell} Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Swdl. {Len H. Swindell} 3/KT.19.9.33. In order to confirm its successful operation before going into production, we should like for test purposes a worm and wheel controlled throttle edge adjustment making to Scheme 1639 (sch.2) This was instructed with details in memo BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /CS.1/EH.17.7.33. for test on the standard production semi-expanding carburetter. In addition we should like this carried out on the large carburetter LeC.3432 which we are now developing. This modification overcomes the Stromberg patent so that we do not desire to proceed with any 2 hole scheme such as that issued with the large carburetter to LeC.3349. As this modification saves 25/- per carburetter, we should endeavour to confirm this for use on production. hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Swdl. {Len H. Swindell} | ||
