In reply to your letter of the 19th of December the belts EB.3948 have been made in our mould V.108. The essential dimensions are as follows:- V.108 EB.3948 Top width .625" .6562" Depth .437" .437" Angle 32° 32° 44.5" (circ) 14.005" dia. (44" circ) From the above you will see that the belt we have supplied is 1/32" narrower in top and bottom width than you ask for and is .5" longer. We consider this should be perfectly satisfactory and trust you will agree. The only possible short-coming is that it will ride approximately 1/16" deeper in the V pulley. Unless we hear further from you on the subject we do not propose to put in a separate mould to this part number. Yours truly, FERODO LIMITED Director. | ||
