Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of December 9th. Please note that you addressed your letter "Rolls-Royce Coventry", and that this Company is located at Derby.

We should be glad if you would let us have samples of the lubricant which you recommend in this letter.

We have already expressed our views on the oil situation to you somewhat freely, and you will, therefore, appreciate that we cannot promise to modify the recommendations in our Instruction Book, but will give the matter due consideration.

We thank you for the information re the Octane rating of B.P. Ethyl.

Yours faithfully,

For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
