x306 MARTINDALE DY.{F R Danby} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} We are sending herewith particulars of a front brake pull-off spring for the Phantom 3 car to replace G.82503, previously called for. This spring gives the same load as the one fitted to the car now in France, but has a more reasonable stress. The effect of the increase in normal load is slightly to increase the effort required at the pedal, and to make the hand brake adjustment more difficult to turn. Since we have heard no complaints on these points we have assumed that they are satisfactory, and have worked out the spring whose particulars accompany this note.
