Attachment of the Rear Dampers to the Frame. Bentley.

N. Scheme 4042 herewith shews modifications to the rear damper brackets to give the increased strength which will be required by the controlled dampers.

We have deleted the side plate remote from the ball pin as we make out that this plate does almost no work.

The remaining plate is thickened to give the same lateral stiffness as now and the forward fixing is made capable of taking all of the torque.
