Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} From. G.W.H. 3. S. I. SPECTRECodename for Phantom III. We are hitting the frame with the rear spring leaf clips, the first clip being the chief offender. The Yoke or top lever of the front suspension is also fouling the frame on maximum bump. The irritating creaking noise at the front, was due to the insufficient lubrication of the central steering joints. We have not had a re-occurrence of it, since bleeding the pipe line and making sure of the Bizur supply to the two spherical joints. Upon checking up the front wheel alinement, we find that the front wheels are toeing outwards 1/16". There is no adjustment for this at present. Is there going to be any, or what is the procedure as in this case ? We are today, checking the insulation of the Petrol Filter, the heat having returned after the recent storms. -------- [Signature] GWHancock. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} W.
