C1/C27537 27th May 1937 Ernest G.Kleinwort, Esq., 20, Fenchurch Street, E.C.3. Dear Sir, We are in receipt of your letter of yesterday's date, from which we are very sorry to note that you find the brakes of your Bentley car are unsatisfactory and compare unfavourably with the brakes of your Packard car. We are sending a copy of your letter to our Technical Department at Derby for their consideration and will write you again on receipt of their reply. In the meantime we feel that your brakes may not be operating as well as they should do, inasmuch as generally speaking the braking of the Bentley car is considered excellent and it is a point upon which we receive very little criticism. May we suggest, therefore, that in the meantime you should send the car to our Kingsbury Repair Department so that they may go over the system and satisfy themselves that everything is as it should be. We are, dear Sir, Yours faithfully, For BENTLEY MOTORS (1931) LTD., Director. | ||
