Exhaust Valve (sodium Cooled) - 6 off. Sec: 5000. EXS.1369. Exhaust Valve Seat - 6 off. EXS.1370. Modification to Crankcase. The following part will also be required:- EB.4481. Plug for Sodium Cooled Valve - 6 off. The above is as requested by memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Ed.{J. L. Edwards}1/MH.{M. Huckerby}10.1.39, to provide 1.400 dia valves instead of 1.500 dia, so that if satisfactory the combustion space may be reduced, the valve also being lighter. Kindly produce 1 set of each part. Attached to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Ed{J. L. Edwards}'s copy are Blue Prints of EXS.1369 and EXS.1370, so that he may deal with the British Piston Ring Co. in the ordering of the valve seats.
