B.80 No.4 UNIT (CRANKSHAFT).

Having taken crank oscillation on B.80 NOJ unit we find the amplitude is greater than anticipated.

The crank for the above unit should not be machined on the front nose end as we wish to incorporate a spring drive similar to the one schemed out for B.60. It will, however, require certain modifications and will ask By/Ald.{F. Allwood - Experimental Design} to adapt for the B.80.

Otherwise the crankshaft can be made as B.80 No.3, i.e. 2.75 dia. journals and should be in .4 carbon steel.
