P.S.

We cannot on examination find much the matter with the dimensions and proportions in use in the present shock dampers. I personally do not like the position of the P. 2. dampers in the frame and believe this came about through the American Co's influence and objections to its original position under the frame.

This trouble may always cause these fittings to need some service attention. Experience has taught us that these shock dampers and their connections are much more susceptible to slight slacks in the working parts of the connecting rods and links than we originally thought, and we believe that this is the great and only trouble that we have in connection with them - (partly cured by spring loaded external connecting rods.)

Some trouble has arisen through fitting the extra central oiling, which caused them to lose their oil. We hope, and believe, however that this has been satisfactory cured.
