1280 EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT. Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Ed. {J. L. Edwards} 11/JH. 2nd. June, 1939. Messrs. John Marston Ltd., Wolverhampton. For the attention of Mr. Steadman. Dear Sirs, Further to our conversation of about a month ago regarding a Wraith 80 radiator with the outlet on the wrong side, you promised to repair this for us in about half a day if we could bring the matrix down and take it away on completion. It is probable that the car will be held up on Wednesday of next week, and we shall try to let you have the matrix by 8-0 in the morning. If you think you can do the job then and have it completed for say after lunch we can get the radiator refitted the same day. We are not able to send you the R.R. parts to complete the second W.80 radiator as these will not be completed in time. As soon as they are ready however, we will let you have a set. We are also enclosing herewith a scheme for a set of fixed shutters on the second Ripple radiator as discussed last week. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
