To EFC. from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} -2- E2/G22.7.20. Contd. Mr. Royce thought the construction and method of assembling and sealing the battery was quite good. The repair took very little time, and yet was quite sound owing to the ease with which the battery can be sealed by pouring the melted bitumen in the groove provided between the battery top and the case.
