Derby.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

I feel that I owe you an apology for not having got into touch with you since you were so kind as to tell me in your letter of the 15th. July that you were looking forward to seeing me at some future date.

As a matter of fact I have been in the hands of doctors and surgeons and have now been given a respite but have to go away for a short time and I felt that during that time you might like to have my 4¼ Bentley which has run over 12,000 miles on ADCOIDS, and your inspection might well be used to confirm the tests which you are carrying out in France yourself. If this appeals to you, I will ask Mr. Bowrey to arrange it.

Yours sincerely,

A.{Mr Adams} Duckham
