Referring to EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/28.4.30. we are somewhat at a loss to understand the last paragraph. The information has evidently been conveyed to you by DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} who was present at the Conference at Derby for this expressed purpose. We have no information other than the verbal remarks made by OY. at the Conference. These apparently DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} has transmitted to you.

From memory the bonnet was to project 3/16" over the dash, the dashboard obviously being reduced to the level of the angle to permit the bonnet to pass over. The general dimensions of the bonnet would not be modified, it merely means that instead of the dashboard being the feature to which your body would correspond, it would be the bonnet projecting over the dash, but the contour would be the same.

Oy. has not given us any special information. I am merely conveying what occurred at the Conference here at Derby. BM
