RE PETROL VENTURI FLOW METERS.

EFC2/T7.6.18. The whole of the labour and machines in the Works at the present time, so far as tackle and tools are employed, are absolute essentials to production, and with the extraordinary number of machines that are coming in - the extraordinary effort everybody is making - the machines running continuously night and day - the calls for new test tackles, etc., - and the million other things, Mr. Peskett and we ourselves have to pick the most vital and important jobs that are necessary to keep up production. Consequently, we have no time at the moment to get on with these meters.

I suggest you look round to see if you cannot buy them, or get some other firm to make them - suggest Cookes of Manchester. They do not appear to be absolutely essential to the production of our engines, and consequently they have got to take their order of importance.

I shall be pleased to see you personally about this instead of writing notes.
